Rebellion Bourbon Bar & Kitchen Named Top 101 Whisky Bars in America by Whisky Advocate

Rebellion Bourbon Bar & Kitchen announced today its Fredericksburg and Leesburg locations have been named one of the Top 101 Whisky Bars in America by Whisky Advocate. This announcement comes less than a year after the restaurant opened in Leesburg and within two years of opening in Fredericksburg.

“It is such an honor to have been named one of the Top 101 Whisky Bars by Whisky Advocate,” said Joel Griffin, Rebellion Partner. “Rebellion draws inspiration from the Whiskey Rebellion of 1792-1794, and we strive to pay homage to this history by offering a robust list of bourbons and whiskies. We are proud to be recognized for these efforts!”

Since its opening, Rebellion has established itself as one of the top whisky bars through partnerships with local distilleries for private barrel selects, exclusive tasting events, and the expansion of its bourbon and whisky offering which now boasts over 180 selections.

History and tradition are also key parts of Rebellion with each of its locations having been established in historic downtown districts and undergoing renovations that preserved as much of the historic interior as possible. Following the opening of its Leesburg location, Rebellion was awarded the Preservation Award by the Loudoun County Joint Architectural Review Board in recognition of Rebellion’s dedication to preserving the character of the Old and Historic District.

“Over the last year, our team has been working diligently to continue to expand our menu while also elevating our guest dining experience. We will continue these efforts to remain a top choice for the community and bourbon and whisky lovers alike,” said David Stallard, Rebellion Vice President of Operations.

Whisky Advocate is a leading source for whisky enthusiasts with experts rating and reviewing hundreds of releases each year.
